What to wear

The best advice we can give is to ask yourself the following question: “is what I’m wearing appropriate & comfortable?”  By that we mean, is your clothing appropriate to the activity?  And comfortable speaks for itself!

You don’t have to spend lots, although it is tempting sometimes!  There’s clothing to meet all budgets and look out for opportunities and offers.  For example, Evesham Wheelers recently hosted a second hand sale.

We would always recommend wearing a helmet when riding.  It’s even more important to make sure you can be seen by other road users too.  You can help by having reflective strips on your clothing and investing in a good set of bike lights (remember there’s a difference to being seen and and being able to see when cycling in the dark).
